June 18 Ethan is 7 months oldwell, it's hard to believe, I haven't been here to edit this blog since coming home from the hospital. I use Facebook mostly now, but wanted to add a little bit here in case anyone still reads this...
Ethan is a very sweet little boy, but I can see he's going to be a head strong little man! He's getting ready to crawl, and wants "down" by wiggling and twisting in your arms. He is 20lbs, and very solid. He's been quite a joy and we all love him very much. Lot's of things keeping us busy in our life, work, school and such. Our son Aaron graduated this yr. he's 17 now. Josh and Abishai are hoping for a good summer break from homeschooling. They all got to go to youth camp in Pell City, AL this yr. had a great time, I'm told. I've been working partime as the secretary at our church. So that and schooling keeps me busy.
Not working at the flower shop at all as it is closed, I look forward to someday working for a flower shop again. Still selling Mary Kay when I can.
Enough chat for now...ttyl
julie November 11 Ethan Isaiah was born early!hi ya'll,
My water broke at 4:45am on Nov 7th, no real contractions, but went into the hospital and they decided to do the c section by 7:30 am. He was 7.5 lbs, 19 in long. with a head of 14.5 and was born at 8:13 am.
Had a wonderful experience as far as the c section itself. I stayed in the hospital till Sunday afternoon, went to our evening church service then on to the house!
Our baby is very beautiful, sweet and quiet. I can't sit at the computer too long my feet are still swelling, so this will be quick. Please give me a quick message if you want more details. When I get time, I'll work on a play by play that I'll post, as I know how everyone loves a baby story!!!!!!!!! =-0 I'll try to post a few pictures too!
later,
Julie September 19 9 weeks till D day!!!!!!!!Hi ya'll,
My Dr. said my D day will be Nov 21st, unless I go into labor sooner. I will be schedualed for a c section.
Kinda getting nervous now, I don't mind that my dr wants me to have the c section, it's hospital policy at West Florida hospital, but I had my last vbac kinda wish I could do it again maybe a home birth or water birth, it's my last baby...well Lord willing, so maybe I ought to be happy to get to spend a few days getting waited on in the hospital. I'm a weird duck, I don't mind hospitals and I'm not like those that want out of the hospital 2 hours after delivery.
anyhoo, I'm getting hugh and am wore out. Hopefully the next few weeks flies by!!
July 29 I'm behind again...update on ME!hmmmm...it's been a while...LOL Matter of fact, quite a while.
Baby BOY is now 22 almost 23 weeks along now! I haven't written in a while but things around here haven't stopped lol!
We've moved, Steve got a really wonderful job. He's still in maintenance, but this job is soooo much better for him. We actually are only about 20 miles away from where we were. I'm glad this way we aren't too far away from our daughter and son in law, and their new baby named Daisy...a basset hound puppy!
I've had many an ultra sound, and the last two showed our little one being ANOTHER boy!! Well, I guess the Lord wants us to have lots of boys...
I'm looking like a beached whale...hee hee, no actually I hadn't gained but 8 lbs as of last month, but I definatly have a basket ball in my front!!
We've started going to a different church just over the Alabama border and we are enjoying it. I was able to go to the girls detention center and minister there last night. I hope that I can be part of that ministry regularly.
We are praying about God giving us wisdom and guidance about looking for a place to live of our own. Right now the RV isn't so bad, but add another person and all the stuff that a baby needs well...We did find a nice grassy lot to park the rv on for now, and coming up soon we will be possibly moving it to a nice RV resort run by a christian lady. Aaron has started working for her when we moved here and he's learning alot from her husband's crew as they are builders. He was taught alot about painting and trim work at first, but now he's learning a whole lot more.
Well enough for today, by poor back is killing me, I'm not a young lady prego this time...I wear out alot sooner that previous pregnancies!!!!!!!!!
later,
Julie
June 11 Summer days..The older boys are off at church teen camp. So it's just Shai and I. We are just trying to think of fun things to do. Tuesday I had to work all day at the flower shop and delivering arrangments. I'm glad we got alot of work at the shop to do; I went to 4 different funeral homes yesterday. Well as I sit her to write this I realize how much work I gotta get done today, so I guess this will be a short message.
Steve, Abishai and I went to a camp meeting on Monday night and really enjoyed that, we've gone to this camp meeting in years past and always loved going. Didn't make it out there last night it's just so far away and I worked late, but Steve and I had a nice quiet dinner instead. Janelle watched Abishai so it was just the two of us. I hope that we can make it out the next few nights, it lasts until Fri. Lot's of good preaching and their ladies put on an awsome spread before hand.
Well, this week is great prego wise, I'm starting to feel the movements of the baby a little. =-)
Well more later!!!!!!
